Hermetic Circuits
ELMAK's cold water degassing process makes it possible to degass all hermetic circuits in bypass - without limiting the main flow characteristics. Our EG100 range is suitable for cooling water, central heating, HVAC, motor cooling and transformer cooling.
It is especially usefull in achieving conformity with the VDI 6044 in regard to oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide.
Open Circuits
Do you have an open return tank? The EG138 range makes it possible to do both degassing and filtration in open circuits.
This model is perfect for common "low cost" cooling water systems, without static pressure.
Together with our corrosion protection, this device helps to reduce the amount of dissolved gases coming close to those in closed circuits, whereby the corrosion protection is significantly improved and many goals of the VDI 6044 are reached.
The EG138 includes side-stream filtration with a separation of <5µm, also a goal of the VDI 6044.
Autoclaves
Autoclaves require water with low NCG values. ELMAK-Degassing Technolgoy reduces the NCG without heating up the water.
Our designs for the medical/pharmeceutical market use only stainless steel and plastic for water contact and use no rubber for seals.
These devices easily reach the required minimum NCG values in the EN285.
